Louie is a Yellow-Napped
Amazon born in upstate New York in 1997 and in 2009 Louie discovered that
"He" was actually a "SHE"!
Louie is a great traveling bird and made the trip from New York to Missouri more than a couple of times.
She
first moved to Missouri with her owner in 2004. Louie then decided to move
back to New York to be with her most favorite person (her owners father).
Louie moved back to Missouri in 2008 when her favorite person passed away.
Now she is living with her owner (her new favorite person) and, on most
days, can be seen hanging in our Interactive Active Playroom as her person
is busy in our store.
Louie's vocabulary consist of over 500 words. She says "Hello" and "Goodbye", blows kisses, calls for the cat ("Here Kitty, Kitty..."), answers the phone, cries like a little girl ("It's not fair...") and can sing Faith Hill ("Let me let go Baaabiiiiieeeee...").
